Product made from Water Hyacinth or "Paani Meteka" plant are is essentially found in Tinsukia's ponds. The women-led self-help groups have come together to form a cooperative society in the Guijan Block of Tinsukia, Assam to work from harvesting of water hyacinth and processing it to make the final product by their own hands. The product is handmade, durable and uses sustainable and ecofriendly method in production. The product can be used for decor as well as storage.
