Three ways to wear it.
For a festive or ethnic look, slide the cuff onto a bare wrist below a kurta or kurti sleeve, where the darkened floral relief reads against skin. Keep the other wrist clean or add a single thin bangle so the cuff stays the focus. Jhumkas or small studs balance it without competing.
For everyday and workwear, the antique tone sits surprisingly well against neutrals. Wear it over a rolled linen or cotton shirt sleeve, on its own, for a quiet detail rather than a bold one. A watch on the opposite wrist keeps the look even.
For a contemporary, fusion edge, stack the cuff with one or two slim brass or beaded bands of different widths. Let them breathe. Mixed metals work fine here, and a little space between pieces stops the stack from looking crowded. This suits a dress, a jumpsuit, or an indo-western drape.

The cuff sits low on the wrist, just above the wrist bone, so roll it on gently from the thumb side. Take it off before washing hands, swimming, or applying lotion and perfume, since moisture and chemicals dull brass and can leave a mark on skin. Wipe it with a soft cloth after wear and keep it in a dry pouch. Treated kindly, the antique finish only grows richer.
This cuff comes from a brass-working tradition carried by metalsmith families in the artisan cluster My E-Haat partners with through Aiaca. A cuff like this begins as a flat strip or a cast blank of brass, sized to curve around the wrist with an open back.
The floral run is worked into the surface in low relief, either cast into the form or pushed up from behind with small punches. The smith defines each petal and leaf by hand, so the spacing and depth vary slightly from one piece to the next.
The antique finish is what gives the cuff its name. Once the relief is set, the whole surface is darkened with a controlled oxidising finish, and then the raised petals are gently rubbed back to brighter brass. The dark tone stays lodged in the recesses, throwing the flowers forward and lending the piece its aged, heirloom look.
Brass does not stay still. With wear, warmth and skin slowly deepen the exposed metal, so the cuff you own in a year reads a little softer than the day it arrived. That change is part of the material, not a flaw, and a light polish brings the brighter tone back whenever you want it.
Comfort comes last. The open back is filed smooth so it sits kindly against the wrist, and the ends are rounded off by hand.
